CEMS to Break Ground on New Headquarters

CEMS announced today it is breaking ground on its new 20,000 square foot facility which will house the Company offices. CEMS will hold the official groundbreaking ceremony for its new office on June 15, 2018 at 9 am.

The Bentons Lodge Executive Office located at 108 Bentons Lodge in Summerville, SC, is a two- story 20,000 square foot building which will be the headquarters for CEMS. Their new headquarters will occupy twice their current area, providing the necessary space to support the company’s growth. The design and production areas will be expanded, and the building will continue to house its growing project management, engineering, architecture, marketing, finance, and administration departments.

The building will integrate CEMS’ architecture and engineering design solutions providing a technological showcase for its energy efficient solutions. CEMS designed the new facility to offer an efficient, comfortable, and pleasant work environment for the expanding CEMS team. Reflecting CEMS’ multi-discipline environment, the building features structural steel elements, exposed building systems and architectural features throughout the space. Permeable paving, native landscape buffers, continuous air barriers, high efficiency mechanical systems and LED lighting demonstrate CEMS’s commitment to sustainable initiatives.

General contractor J. Musselman Construction Inc. has been entrusted with the construction of the new facility.
