CEMS provided full DBB design services for the renovation of maintenance hangar facility B570 at Joint Base Charleston. Hangar Facility B570 was built in 1970 and provides fuel cell aircraft maintenance to one of the largest C-17 aircraft fleets in the Air Force. The renovation repaired/upgraded a large portion of the hangar to include architectural upgrades; exterior enclosures; seismic upgrades per ACE-41; roofing system; mechanical, plumbing and HVAC system and controls; electrical systems; and fire suppression system and controls.
