Total renovation of and new lobby addition to a circa 1950’s 800 seat base theater/auditorium to bring the facility up to current operational, HVAC, electrical, lighting, aesthetic, seismic, and force protection standards.  Structural features included reinforcing steel columns and trusses to resist seismic forces and upgraded to new AT/FP standards. Strengthening of tall unreinforced masonry walls with linex to reduce damage due to blast effects was also included.  Civil features included new utility services, upgraded of storm drainage system, modification of parking lot and entry drives to meet AT/FP criteria, and erosion/sediment control Best Management Practices.

CEMS provided all engineering disciplines to include Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Fire Protection, Communications, and Structural engineering.  An AT/FP analysis was performed as a part of the design charrette and schematic phase of the project.
